Then COME SEE THE VIOLENCE INHERENT IN THE SYSTEM! - the newest up and coming band from Colorado’s Western Slope. Lead by composer / songwriter Taan Goodson, the 4 piece group includes Jerome Ellis on bass, Maryam Dalichau on synth, and Casey Smart on electric guitar. Each skilled on multiple instruments, it’s not uncommon to see the bandmates switch places. The members’ distinct music backgrounds paint a collective history of multiple published original albums in pop-rock, electronic, and blues - as well as numerous live acts in a variety of genres.
VIS original music offers a mix of driving rock beats, mellow folk songs, and chill electronic tracks - for people who like to rock, but prefer to be chill about it. With a variety of influences in rock-pop, folk, electronic, and comedy, VIS covers artists such as Radiohead , Mutemath, Royksopp, Monty Python, and Weird Al.
Equipped with a PA system, VIS is capable of setting up and playing shows entirely on their own equipment. For venues with their own sound system, a tech rider is available below.
